1. What is personal data?

3. Cookies
3.1 A cookie is a text file that a website or web server sends to your browser to be stored on your system as an anonymous identifier that your system recognizes - but not you personally.
3.2 You have the option of setting your browser so that it notifies you in advance when you receive a cookie so that you can refuse to receive the cookie. You can also completely deactivate the receipt of cookies via your browser. However, this can result in some pages no longer working or only to a limited extent.
3.3 If you properly log out, the session and permanent cookies we set will be automatically deleted by your web browser depending on its settings. If you close the browser without first logging out, only the session cookie will be deleted; a permanent cookie set at your request will be retained. However, permanent cookies are automatically deleted or invalid after the expiry of one month.
4. Disclosure of personal data to third parties/address and credit check

For this purpose, the information about the name or the company, the address and, if applicable, the date of birth, which is collected as part of the registration, is transmitted to a credit reporting agency or another information service, which uses this data to check the validity of the address or the creditworthiness of the respective user. The credit agency is obliged to protect data. In the event of non-contractual processing (e.g. termination due to late payment, requested payment order for an undisputed claim and enforcement measures), we can also transmit information about personal data to the credit reporting agency. The respective data transmission and storage takes place only insofar as this is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of TEB or the general public and the interests of the user worthy of protection are not thereby affected.
